Solfest is Cumbria's biggest and best combined arts festival. In 2007 there were 10 000 people attending the 70-acre site and enjoying a vast array of world-class music, drama, workshops and children activities and fine food and drink, ranging from locally produced specialities to exotic experiences from around the globe. 2008 sees Solfest returning bigger and better than ever.
