Magical Mysterious Regeneration Tour: Artists, Architecture and the future of the City

What are the methods and meanings of urban regeneration? Here Liverpool provides a live platform for an international conference, debating themes such as: ‘Artists’ Collectives and City Culture’, ‘Architects, Planning and the Politics of Regeneration’, and ‘City Life: Poverty and Power around theWorld’. Historians and critics, artists and architects, administrators and curators will take artist-led bus tours and regeneration tours andwill provide forums for critical debate on the purposes, benefits and costs of regeneration. Finally, the conferencewill feature a research students’ mini conference, at which nine postgraduate students will give papers on regeneration topics.
