This is a rare chance to see the work of Laura Knight since many of the works in this exhibition have rarely, if ever been exhibited. Knight’s work explores the splendour of costume and scenery, but also quiet moments back stage away from public eye. She was a leading British Impressionist creating drawings and paintings of the on and off stage life of Diaghilev’s Ballets Russes.
