The Festival of Fools is 5 days of mayhem, where jesters run amok in the castle grounds, known as the kingdom of fools. Enjoy daily performances by different jesters and walkabout artists. Take part in the treasure trail and meet Max Meadow Vole. Visit the Foolish Fair Trade stands, face painting and side shows. The last day of the Festival is the international jesters tournament, where jesters from worldwide compete for the title Fool of Muncaster 2008.
